Our Mission at FBC is
"To know God through Jesus Christ and to make Him known."
In order to fulfill our vision statement and with the Bible as our guide, we determine that the following priorities will guide our planning:
- Evangelism - "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you..." -Matthew 28:19-20a (NKJV)
- Prayer (devotion) - "Pray without ceasing..." -1 Thessalonians 5:17 (NKJV)
- Discipleship - "Now the purpose of the commandment is love from a pure heart, from a good conscience, and from sincere faith..." - 1 Timothy 1:5 (NKJV)
- Worship - Jesus said to him, "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind." -Matthew 22:37 (NKJV)
- Fellowship - "Therefore let us pursue the things which make for peace and the things by which one may edify another." -Romans 14:19 (NKJV)
- Ministry - "Then fear came upon every soul, and many wonders and signs were done through the apostles. Now all who believed were together, and had all things in common..." -Acts 2:43-44 (NKJV)
